Who we are

We are seekers, healers, musicians, farmers, educators, artists, and Earth skills lovers building Jewish community outside of mainstream institutions. We currently organize holiday and Shabbat (Sabbath) events including potlucks, song circles, and prayer services.

As we expand our membership and organization, we look forward to offering monthly nigun (devotional melody) singing circles, lifecycle rituals, and Jewish education classes. We envision hosting Shabbatons (weekend-long Sabbath events) with Jewish leaders and educators from around the country, cross-pollinating with our regional Jewish offerings. We also plan to hold holiday retreats where we make ritual objects from natural materials, engage in ancient crafts, bake challah and other ritual food items, play ancestral games with kids of all ages, and more.

We are excited to expand Jewish community in the South and particularly in Appalachia, where there have been relatively limited Jewish communal offerings. We are eager to connect with folks who are seeking a more meaningful, vibrant, socially conscious, and Earth-loving Jewish community. We welcome you to dream and create with us!
